A little bit of positivity done from the to-do list before we break up for Christmas!
Archmon are proud to have signed up to the Conscious Advertising Network – a voluntary coalition of over 70 organisations set up to ensure that industry ethics catch up with the technology of modern advertising.
Clear borne out of the gap between the pace of the change of systems, and us all being a little poor at self policing.
They have 6 key areas of their manifesto: Ad Fraud, Diversity, Informed Consent, Hate Speech, Fake News and Children’s Wellbeing.
For Archmon, this is clear and something we will be getting behind in the year ahead; we will deliver inclusive plans and strategies that will ensure media owners and context are sensitive to different communities and audiences, from working with KidTech through to partners who work with the LGBTQ+ community. We will also work with complaint partners who are GDPR ready, and tech companies who have assured us that Fake News and Ad Fraud can be negated through semantic and tracking technology.
Our collective has been built really for many years, long before the company founded, so we can give clients the best experience possible.
There is a long way to go and these problems are not going to evaporate overnight – although I am confident that between us (with Archmon & Partners playing their part) we can incrementally make improvements to the way companies communicate and media companies behave.
